Clerical Officer II

[MPS Point 3 – 15, $15,560 – $31,750]

 

Job Requirements:

  1. Attained Level 2/ Grade E or above in 5 subjects in HKDSE or HKCEE, including Chinese Languages and English Language/ English Language (Syllabus B) in pre-2007 HKCEE, or equivalent;
  2. Has a minimum of 2 years’ working experience, preferably relevant experience in corresponding aspects; and
  3. Strong in Excel and Word applications.

 

Preferred Attributes for the post under Facility Management Office:         

  1. Capable of handling full set of presentation and construction drawings, and holder of AutoCAD training certificate would be an advantage.

 

Candidates will be deployed to one of the following units:

 

(1) General Office and Human Resources [Reference No.: PP207COIIHRP]

 

Major Duties:     

  1. Assist in payroll duties like compilation of attendance and roster data for part-time staff;
  2. Assist in enhancement and data inputting for the Human Resources Management System;
  3. Responsible for reporting work injury cases with Labour Department and insurance companies and communicating with injured employee;
  4. Prepare and issue various HR correspondence (e.g. HR reports, letter, forms) as appropriate; and
  5. Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisors.

 

(2) Facility Management Office [Reference No.: PP207COIIF]

 

Major Duties:     

  1. Maintain floor plan library and assist in plan retrieval;
  2. Regular update on the floor plans and technical drawings according to the latest floor usage of the Hospital;
  3. Assist in on-site dimension measurement;
  4. Arrange daily repair and maintenance and use acceptance test of equipment and facilities;
  5. Assist in preventive and corrective maintenance conducted by third parties;
  6. Prepare and issue documents including Notices, Invitation to Quote, Quotation Register and Purchase/ Service Order;
  7. Respond to user’s requests and liaise with contractors on maintenance and orders;
  8. Supervise junior subordinates and technical staff of Facility Management Office; and
  9. Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisors.

 

Package:       Five-day week, 14 days’ annual leave and medical/ dental benefits.  Successful candidate will be offered appointment at the entry point, MPS Point 3 ($15,560) per month with a two-year contract which is renewable, subject to satisfactory performance.  An end-of-contract gratuity may be granted upon satisfactory completion of the contract with consistently high standard of performance and conduct.  The amount of gratuity payable will be the sum which, when added to the Hospital’s contribution to a Mandatory Provident Fund (MPF) scheme as required by the MPF Schemes Ordinance (Cap. 485), equals to 10% of the total basic salary drawn during the contract period.
