Clerical Officer II

[MPS Point 3 – 15, $16,695 – $34,060]

 

Job Requirements:

(a)     Attained Level 2/ Grade E or above in 5 subjects in HKDSEE or HKCEE, including

Chinese Language and English Language/ English Language (Syllabus B) in pre-2007 HKCEE, or equivalent;

(b)     Has proficiency in Office applications (e.g. Excel and Word); and

(c)     Has a minimum of two years’ working experience.

 

Preferred Attributes: Relevant experience or qualification in related jobs would be an advantage.

 

Suitable Candidates will be deployed to one of the following units:

 

(1) General Office (Human Resources) [Reference No.: PP207COIIHR]

 Major Duties:           

(a)     Assist in conducting recruitment exercises and undertake general clerical duties;

(b)     Assist in acquiring and user-testing a new Human Resources Management System relating to appraisal, contracts, leave, etc.;

(c)     Prepare and issue various documents (e.g. contracts, letters, notices, appraisals and other human resources documents) as appropriate;

(d)     Generate information and reports from computer systems;

(e)     Answer public and staff enquiries; and

(f)     Arrange logistics for meetings if required.

 

(2) Para-dental Training Centre [Reference No.: PP207COIIPDTC]

Major Duties:           

(a)     Provide clerical and general administrative support to the Para-dental Training Centre and the training programmes;

(b)     Prepare and issue documents (e.g. letters and notices);

(c)     Handle enquiries and provide counter services;

(d)     Assist in the arrangement and logistics of course/ student related matters (e.g. student recruitment and admission, graduation ceremony);

(e)     Maintain the online learning platforms; and

(f)     Maintain records and generate information/ reports from systems.

 

Package:  Five-day week, 14 days’ annual leave and medical/ dental benefits.  Successful candidate will be offered appointment at the entry point, MPS Point 3 ($16,695) per month with a two-year contract which is renewable, subject to satisfactory performance. An end-of-contract gratuity may be granted upon satisfactory completion of the contract with consistently high standard of performance and conduct.  The amount of gratuity payable will be the sum which, when added to the Hospital’s contribution to a Mandatory Provident Fund (MPF) scheme as required by the MPF Schemes Ordinance (Cap. 485), equals to 10% of the total basic salary drawn during the contract period.
