
The 2026 Foundation Course in Dental Surgery Assisting is designed to enhance the knowledge and skills of both current and aspiring Dental Surgery Assistants. This 33-hour course will run from late May to mid August 2026, combining lectures with hospital visits to provide hands-on experience in a real clinical setting, including access to the central sterilizing unit and dental laboratory.

Any persons aged 18 or above who are interested in joining the field of dental surgery assisting or serving dental surgery assistant.
Applicant is required to send the completed application form and proof of all related employment in dental clinic(s) to pdtc@ppdh.org.hk with the email subject “Application to 2026 DSA Foundation course”. The deadline for applications is 12 April 2026.
The Hospital will notify the successful candidates on or before 6 May 2026 (i.e. three weeks before course commencement) by email. Successful candidate is required to settle the tuition fee within 5 business days of the issuance of the successful notification email.

#Compulsory
Students with 80% attendance and attended all compulsory lessons will be awarded an electronic attendance certificate. The certificate will not be reissued once emailed.
