Admission of Teaching Patients for Orthodontic Treatment
The Prince Philip Dental Hospital will admit a limited number of teaching patients for orthodontic treatment.
Recruitment Arrangements
Limited quota on a first-come-first-served basis.
Applicants must fulfill the following criteria:
As of 15 June 2026, aged 6 to 18; and
Never received any orthodontic treatment before.
Eligible applicants could click the button for the Application Form and complete the Form to enroll. On registration, the following personal information of the applicants should be provided: (a) name, (b) date of birth, (c) contact person and (d) contact telephone number.
The Hospital will contact successfully registered applicants for the first round of screening from early July to August 2026. Those who pass the first round of screening will attend a second round conducted by the undergraduate students of Faculty of Dentistry of The University of Hong Kong from September to October 2026, with a view to determining their suitability for the designated teaching purposes.
Treatment will only be arranged for those whose dental conditions are suitable for teaching purposes. (Consultation Hours: Mondays to Fridays: 08:30 – 12:30 hrs and 13:30 – 17:30 hrs; Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays: Closed)
Applicants under aged 18 must be accompanied by their parent/guardian for screening.
