Assistant Hospital Administrator (Reception and Records)

Monthly Salary

Job Requirements

(a)   Should possess a Bachelor Degree from a university in Hong Kong or equivalent;

(b)   Level 3/ Grade C or above in English Language in HKDSEE/ HKCEE or English Language (Syllabus B) in pre-2007 HKCEE, or equivalent; and

(c)   Fluent in English and Chinese and with very good writing skills.

 

Preferred Attribute:   With working experience in handling complaints in public or social organisations.

Major Duties

(a)   Manage and supervise the daily operations of the Reception and Records Office;

(b)   Plan, coordinate and implement outreach activities;

(c)   Develop and implement policies and procedures relating to patient registration, patient flow and patient records management;

(d)   Handle patient complaints and provide necessary assistance;

(e)   Oversee the reception arrangement for patients and liaise closely with various clinics to ensure efficient patient flow;

(f)    Propose any necessary waiver of patient fees;

(g)   Compile patient-related statistics and reports; and

(h)   Coordinate and manage liaison with external organizations and stakeholders.

Package

Five-day week, 18 days’ annual leave and medical/ dental benefits.  Successful candidate will be offered appointment at the entry point, MPS Point 17 ($39,490) (subject to the Board of Governors’ approval) per month with a two-year contract which is renewable, subject to satisfactory performance.  An end-of-contract gratuity may be granted upon satisfactory completion of the contract with consistently high standard of performance and conduct.  The amount of gratuity payable will be the sum which, when added to the Hospital’s contribution to a Mandatory Provident Fund (MPF) scheme as required by the MPF Schemes Ordinance (Cap. 485), equals to 10% of the total basic salary drawn during the contract period.
