Hospital Administrator

MPS Point 28 – 33, $64,780 – $81,510

Job Requirements:

(a)   Should possess a Bachelor Degree from a university in Hong Kong or equivalent;

(b)   Has a minimum of six years’ administrative experience. Relevant experience in public or non-profit making organisations would be an advantage;

(c)   Level 3/ Grade C or above in English Language in HKDSEE/ HKCEE or English Language (Syllabus B) in pre-2007 HKCEE, or equivalent; and

(d)   Strong communication skills and fluent in English and Chinese with excellent writing skills.

 

Major Duties:

(a)   Supervise appointment, human resources management, payroll, training and general administration matters of the General Office and Human Resources Office;

(b)   Assist in formulating and reviewing policies and procedures relating to personnel and general administration;

(c)   Review on complementing and grading of PPDH’s establishment, compensation and benefits, performance appraisals and give advice to staff members in the related matters;

(d)   Manage matters relating to the Occupational Retirement Schemes, Mandatory Provident Fund Scheme and other statutory compliances relating to personnel management;

(e)   Oversee the conduct of recruitment exercises and the accord of priority to the exercises; serve as Secretary to these exercises as required;

(f)   Draft papers to the Board of Governors and the Establishment and Finance Committee; and

(g)   Act as Personal Data Controlling Officer to oversee compliance with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance.

 

Package:         Five-day week, 18 days’ annual leave and medical/ dental benefits.  Successful candidate will be offered appointment at the entry point, MPS Point 28 ($64,780) per month with a two-year contract which is renewable, subject to satisfactory performance.  An end-of-contract gratuity may be granted upon satisfactory completion of the contract with consistently high standard of performance and conduct.  The amount of gratuity payable will be the sum which, when added to the Hospital’s contribution to a Mandatory Provident Fund (MPF) scheme as required by the MPF Schemes Ordinance (Cap. 485), equals to 15% of the total basic salary drawn during the contract period.
